From February 25 to 27, 2026, the 15th edition of the International Wood Construction Forum, held under the nave of the Grand Palais, brought together nearly 18,000 visitors. The event unites all stakeholders in the wood, bio-based/geosourced, and reuse sectors, highlighting their role in meeting the 2030 and 2050 environmental targets. More than just a conference, it becomes an immersion into “climate-conscious” architecture, where innovation, urban planning, and new construction practices intersect.
The scenography, entrusted to Karawitz, plays a central role. Already involved in 2025 for the Pan’Auditorium, the agency has designed an updated version of the auditorium this year and is also responsible for the entire scenographic setup, from the ground floor to the R+1 gallery. Structured as a “forest of emergences,” it stages collaborations between stakeholders, organizes visitor flows, and highlights bio-based materials, turning the space into a mediation tool serving climate-related challenges.
